A streak you can see, an urge mode for the hard minutes, a voice you choose, and something to do with your hands at 1am. No account. Everything stays on your phone.

Most quit apps try to be a whole life coach. Strak does the few things that matter at the moment they matter.
One big number, a bar to 30 days, and your total clean days underneath. A relapse resets the streak, not the total, and never your best.
One tap. A breathing circle that paces you through the fifteen minutes an urge actually lasts, your own "why" in your own words, a game, and a neutral WhatsApp message to one person.
Twenty reads on why this is hard, what an urge does, the flatline, the grey zone, shame vs. guilt. Each in Coach or Kind, whichever you need.
How strong were the urges today, and what set them off. After two weeks the pattern is obvious, and the pattern is the whole fight.
The home screen switches to a calmer message during your dangerous hours. A quiet daily reminder at the hour you choose.
Days 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 90, 365. Each one gets a moment and a clean share card that says nothing explicit.
Every note, button and read exists in two versions. Pick the one that gets through to you; switch any time.
Direct. No excuses. Tells you when you're about to slip and doesn't soften a relapse.
"You didn't relapse because you were weak. You relapsed because you had no plan at 1am. Make one."
Calm and steady. Treats a slip as information, not failure, and keeps you moving.
"A slip after twelve clean days is still twelve clean days. Tonight, just get to sleep."

No. Urge mode opens WhatsApp with a short, neutral message already written, something like "got five minutes to talk?". They don't need the app and they won't know why you're writing unless you tell them.
No. It's a tool for the daily work: tracking, the hard minutes, and understanding what's happening. If compulsive behaviour is affecting your health, relationships or safety, please talk to a professional. Strak works well alongside that, not instead of it.
Because this is private, and the only data that can't leak is data that was never collected. The trade-off is that we can't restore your streak if you lose your phone without a backup. We think that's the right trade.
You log it, optionally with a note about what was going on. The current streak resets; your total clean days and your best streak stay. Over time the relapse notes show you the pattern, which is the point.
Not at launch. English first, then we'll see where the users are.
Android closed testing starts first, then both stores. Follow along on TikTok or email hello@strakapp.com and we'll tell you the day it's live.
